MY VISION

MY VISION FOR ALHAMBRA

Keep Alhambra’s Neighborhoods Strong

Growth should strengthen Alhambra, not diminish the character of the neighborhoods we call home.  I’ll advocate for responsible development that considers traffic, infrastructure, environmental safety, housing needs, and quality of life.  Development decisions should be guided by sound planning and the long-term interests of residents.

Make City Hall More Transparent

Residents have a right to understand how their government works and how their tax dollars are being spent.  I’ll push for greater transparency, meaningful public engagement, and clear accountability for city decisions, projects, and expenditures.  Government works best when residents can see what is happening – and have a meaningful opportunity to be heard.

Invest Responsibly in Alhambra’s Future

Our city must make smart, long-term investments in infrastructure, public spaces, parks, streets, and other community priorities.  I’ll work to ensure public funds are spent responsibly, projects move forward as promised, and residents receive clear answers about progress and results.

Protect Our Environment and Public Health

Alhambra’s future depends on a healthy environment and safe neighborhoods.  As an environmental engineer and former member of the Environmental Sustainability Commission, I understand the importance of addressing contamination, pollution, sustainability, and environmental risks before they become tomorrow’s problems.  I’ll bring science and careful analysis to decisions that affect public health and our community.

Put Residents at the Center

Good government starts with listening.  I’ll work to make sure District 1 residents have a meaningful voice in decisions that affect their homes, neighborhoods, and future.  Whether the issue is development, city spending, transportation, or community services, residents deserve to be heard and treated with respect.

Govern With Facts, Not Politics

Alhambra needs leaders who can work across differences and focus on solving problems.  I’ll bring an independent, evidence-based approach to City Council—asking difficult questions, considering all sides, and making decisions based on what is best for Alhambra rather than political interests.

Let’s do this together!
