Community Issues in Alhambra that Ron has provided leadership and delivered results:

Saving Story Park from condominium development
Led the effort in passing a citizen-sponsored ballot measure (Measure V), ensuring Alhambra has by-District elections
As Planning Commissioner, updated decades-old General Plan, Zoning Code, and Housing Element
Provided technical assistance to the City to show that Alhambra was being asked to do far more than its fair share to develop new housing (per the state's RHNA requirements)
Stopped a large development ("Villages") because the developer refused to clean up environmental contamination on the land
Approved numerous housing developments where they did not destroy our neighborhoods
Made the community (and City Leaders) aware of over 100 million lost dollars in transportation funding (Measure R) while consultants got paid millions
Stopped changes to City Council term limits without more community support
Provided direction and comments on the City's Environmental Sustainability Plan
